1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the InvoxEasy web application, related websites, account features, subscription features, and online support services operated by The Things Tech Company.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, or have valid permission from a parent or guardian where applicable.
If you create or use an account, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Limited Right to Use the Service
Subject to your continued compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for lawful business or personal document-management purposes.
The service is licensed for access and use. No ownership in the service or its underlying software is transferred to you.
4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
- Use the service only through authorized interfaces and only for lawful purposes.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code or underlying concepts except where non-waivable law allows it.
- Do not circumvent or probe security, access controls, rate limits, fraud detection, session controls, or storage boundaries.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, privacy-invasive, or misleading activities.
- Do not introduce malware, automated scripts, data mining bots, or otherwise overload infrastructure.
- Do not attempt to access another users account, subscription, or stored content without authorization.
5. User Content and Responsibility
You retain your rights in the information and files you submit to the service. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free right to host, process, store, back up, transmit, preview, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you upload, generate, import, share, or export using the service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to use that content in the service.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds
- Some features require paid subscriptions or one-time purchases.
- Pricing, billing periods, renewal rules, taxes, trial eligibility, and promotional terms are disclosed at checkout or in the billing interface and may vary by plan, region, currency, or law.
- Billing for the web service is processed through Stripe or related payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled through the billing portal or other provided cancellation flow. Canceling after a renewal charge does not retroactively reverse an already processed billing period unless required by law or explicitly stated in the applicable billing terms.
- Deleting your account or stopping use of the service does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription.
- Refund requests are subject to the applicable checkout terms, payment provider rules, and mandatory law.
7. Third-Party Services and External Dependencies
The service may depend on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, billing, analytics, communication, or file delivery. Your use of the service may therefore involve those third parties to the extent required for the service to function.
Your use of Google, Apple, Stripe, or other third-party services remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Handling of technical and personal data is further governed by the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability, Changes, and No Professional Advice
We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at our discretion. We may also update the service, underlying infrastructure, eligibility rules, or feature limits over time.
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may be suspended or limited for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
Outputs from the service, including generated documents, calculations, summaries, templates, and exports, are provided for general informational and administrative purposes only and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.
9. Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Limitation of Liability
All service code, interfaces, graphics, branding, text, layouts, and underlying technology remain the property of the company or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the company and its officers, employees, contractors, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$50, except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.
10. Suspension, Termination, Governing Law, and Contact
- We may suspend or terminate access to the service, remove content, or limit features if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms, a security risk, fraud, abuse, legal exposure, or operational necessity.
- You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions about billing, ownership, limitations of liability, dispute handling, and lawful retention of records.
- Unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, excluding conflict-of-law principles, with exclusive venue in the courts of Hong Kong.
- Nothing in the agreement limits non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
- We may revise these terms by updating the published version and last updated date. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated version constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
